Sara Bologna is a designer based in Milan. She conceives projects at different scales, from objects to installation, venturing into the liminal zones of design practice, testing, and questioning its boundaries.
Her imagination is permeated with rites, symbols, graffiti in the folds of prehistory, fragments of poems and grimoires, in a research that develops both at a theoretical and planning level. On the one hand, it addresses the urgency of recovering a profoundly human dimension of material culture and life, through the rediscovery of the sacred and ritual dimensions of objects, in a process of semantic deconstruction and reconstruction based on iconographic and historical research. On the other, to the promotion and support of craftsmanship as a source of knowledge and truly sustainable development.
