Enzo Vincenzo

Enzo Vincenzo

The Project
CONCEPT

Enzo Vincenzo is a hybrid object, with a dual soul, born from the encounter between function and narrative, between the conviviality of the table and the intimacy of the writing desk. It is formally inspired by a pencil holder, but reinvents itself as a modular object, designed to accompany different moments, reflecting two opposite and complementary attitudes of the human soul. The convivial one and the introverted one.

DEVELOPMENT

Enzo Vincenzo is born from the collaboration between Martina Liverani and Federica Zama.

Journalist and food writer, founder of the first independent Italian bookmagazine Dispensa, Martina has been exploring the languages of food, culture and lifestyle for over twenty years, collaborating with important Italian and international publications, companies and institutions. She regularly writes for La Repubblica and Sale&Pepe and is the author of numerous publications including Guarda dove mangi. Ceramica in tavola (Polaris Editore, 2024).

Architect and designer, Federica studied at Central Saint Martins in London and specialized in product design at ISIA in Faenza. After over ten years of experience as an interior designer in London, in 2021 she returned to her hometown and founded M’ama Interni.

In 2023 she launched M’ama Edizioni, a brand that reflects a unique design vision: each object is the result of techniques, materials and processes never repeated, often handmade by herself or together with artisans-artists.

THE DESIGN

Enzo Vincenzo is composed of aluminum cylinders of various sizes, inside which ceramic containers of different heights are placed.

It’s a ductile and flexible object: a convivial table centerpiece or an elegant desk organizer.

TWO SOULS, ONE OBJECT

Enzo is the extroverted soul: he loves to receive guests, serve aperitifs, offer small tastings arranged with care — olives, cheeses, breadsticks, sauces — in removable containers, combinable at will.

Vincenzo, on the other hand, is more reflective: he prefers to write love letters, collect pens, keep paper clips, cards, small objects of paper and memory. He collects stamps and letter paper. He sends postcards to friends.

EMOTIONAL VERSATILITY

It’s not just about function: Enzo Vincenzo tells a story, the one that every person lives in the passage between public and private, between sociality and creative solitude. It can change use, form and character, just like we do every day.

The aperitif is one of the most lively and changeable moments of contemporary food culture. It is not a codified meal, but a free and personal composition, made of small tastings, different flavors, different containers. It is a convivial and social gesture, with precise aesthetic rules: balance between colors, shapes, materials, but also between spontaneity and care.

Yet, there was still missing on the table an object explicitly designed for this moment. There are trays, bowls, small plates… but none of these truly speaks the language of the aperitif. Enzo Vincenzo fills this void, offering a modular, elegant and functional platform, capable of adapting to ever-changing menus, while respecting the ritual and beauty that this moment deserves.

SUGGESTED RITUAL

Who are you inviting today?

An aperitif with Enzo, festive and messily perfect?

Or an afternoon with Vincenzo, orderly and full of thoughts?

You don’t have to choose forever.

Just recompose the object, and let it accompany you, in every version of yourself.
