In its fifth edition, EDIT opened the doors of the Archivio di Stato in Naples, with its magnificent cloisters, a place steeped in art and history: the Catasto Hall, the Novitiate Courtyard (dedicated to emerging designers), the Atrium of Marmi and the majestic Cortile del Platano welcomed the independent and authorial design fair curated by Domitilla Dardi and Emilia Petruccelli.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221; el_class=&#8221;nomobsp&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221; el_class=&#8221;nomobsp&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3142&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"sottofoto\">Titti Gallucci, Sara Bologna, Raffaella Guidobono, Emilia Petruccelli<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3148&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"sottofoto\">Titti Gallucci, Domitilla Dardi, Cristian Visentin<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This year we experienced many emotions and proposed new rituals and gestures related to food, in the setting of a magnificent place: the Sala Catasti.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221; el_class=&#8221;nomobsp&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3144&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"sottofoto\">Titti Gallucci, Sara Bologna, Cristian Visentin, Raffaella Del Giudice, Astrid Luglio and the new entry Lea Blu<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Meetings, gestures, rituals: the atmosphere of EDIT Napoli stimulated important conversations among the curious and design enthusiasts who visited the fair and were pleasantly impressed by our collections.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3136&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3138&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3140&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3146&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]This year, we presented two new projects: <strong>Atanor<\/strong>, dedicated to bread sourdough, and <strong>Wave<\/strong>, dedicated to chocolate.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221; el_class=&#8221;nomobsp&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3134&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Atanor<\/strong>, born from the collaboration between <strong>Sara Bologna<\/strong> and <strong>Aurora Zancanaro<\/strong> of the bakery <strong>Le Polveri<\/strong> located in Milan, is a jar for mother yeast in liquid culture whose shape &#8211; reminiscent of a glass ampoule &#8211; has been designed to accompany the preparatory yeast refreshment phase to bread making.<\/p>\n<p>The refreshed yeast must be placed in the internal vessel, while the outermost one must be filled with hot water to create an optimal climate for its growth. The inspiration comes from the alchemical imagination: the Atanor was the oven whose heat was used to carry out alchemical digestion, favouring the transmutation of the elements.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3158&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3156&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3154&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3160&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]Atanor was born from the collaboration between <strong>Sara Bologna <\/strong>and <strong>Aurora Zancanaro<\/strong>, two contemporary alchemists: the first one is a designer that moves between symbols and signs to give body to objects imbued with magic and narratives; the second one, began her career as a chemist but then decided to dedicate herself to the art of bread, transforming the simplest elements of the earth &#8211; water and flour &#8211; into masterpieces to eat every day. Her bakery <strong>LePolveri<\/strong> is a laboratory in continuous fermentation.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3162&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]The team of alchemists is completed by <strong>Massimo<\/strong> from <strong>Remark Soffieria Artistica<\/strong>, who has refined the borosilicate glass processing technique on laboratory equipment.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221; el_class=&#8221;nomobsp&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3167&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Wave <\/strong>is a container whose lid takes on the function of a tray, which draws inspiration from another ritual gesture: serving small and sweet delicacies. The classic chocolate box is reinterpreted with contemporary, simple and sinuous shapes.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3152&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]Chocolate transports us to an Eden of multisensory pleasures, enhancing self-gratification thanks to its polyphenols. It is an enveloping pleasure and a moment of absolute well-being, into which only contact with nature or an immersion in Capri\u2019s blue sea can lead us. How to tell all this through an object? A wave that hides a secret inside: the serotonin formula!
