TOTA ITALIA. ORIGINS OF A NATION, A NEW EXHIBITION AT THE SCUDERIE DEL QUIRINALE WITH THE AIM TO PROMOTE ITALIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE.<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Scuderie del Quirinale<\/strong> present ‘Tota Italia. <\/strong>Origins of a Nation’<\/strong>, a masterpiece exhibition curated by Massimo Osanna and St\u00e9phane Verger, from May 14th<\/sup> to July 25th<\/sup><\/strong>, thanks to the extraordinary commitment of the General Directorate of Museums and the entire Italian museum system. The exhibition, inaugurated on May 14th<\/sup> by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella<\/strong> together with the Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini<\/strong>, represents a significant opportunity to enhance the important heritage of Italian museums, starting with the National Roman Museum, recalling the rich cultural plurality at the origins of the history of our country.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”1175″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The starting point is the extraordinary variety and cultural richness of pre-Roman Italy, a fascinating mosaic of people and traditions. Tota Italia tells the process of Romanization, which was a clash, encounter and hybridization, and retraces the steps that led to unification under the banner of Rome, from the 4th<\/sup> century BC to the Julio-Claudian age. In the title, the exhibition takes up the famous formula of the oath of Augustus, the man who unified Italy in a homogeneous territory for the first time, not only from a political and administrative point of view, but also from a cultural, religious and linguistic perspective.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The excellent masterpieces that make up the corpus of the exhibition, testify the important heritage of Italian National Museums and will explain the formation of our cultural identity and the roots of our country, also evoking the richness of our social, ethnic and cultural plurality.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”1179″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”1181″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Here are some beautiful findings transported to the Quirinale<\/strong> in the final stages of preparation of the exhibition:<\/p>\n

  2. Fresco with hanging ducks and antelopes. From Herculaneum, Villa dei Papiri. MANN.<\/li>\n
  3. Portrait of Agrippina Maggiore, National Archaeological Museum of Luni.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”1183″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Thanks to this sensational exhibition, our Pyxis had the opportunity to be exhibited in the Bookshop<\/strong> of the Scuderie, in collaboration with ARTE’M, which also edited the Exhibition Catalog.<\/p>\n

    Eleit.it<\/strong> and ARTE’M<\/strong> share the same goal: promoting the Italian cultural heritage. This common aim also gave rise to the idea of \u200b\u200bPyxis: to enhance the consumption of Buffalo Mozzarella campana DOP connecting the excellences of the territory.<\/p>\n

    Designed by the architect Raffaella Del Giudice<\/strong>, our Pyxis was built at the Caselli Real Fabbrica Institute in Capodimonte<\/strong> and tested at the Tenuta Vannulo<\/strong> in Capaccio<\/strong> (Paestum).<\/p>\n
