Francesco Acampora is Peccati di Capri’s CEO. Peccati di Capri is the Neapolitan chocolate shop famous for its delicious Faraglioni. At the end of 2021, he launched “Blu Capri“, the new brand that underlines an important ecological turning point for the company.
The packaging is completely new, entirely recyclable, and plastic-free. The recipes have also been renewed, paying even more attention to the absolute quality of the ingredients. The icing on the cake is Peccati di Capri’s participation in the international SEABIN project for cleaning the seas. The 3% of sales revenue will be used to buy SEABIN devices which will filter plastic objects from the Gulf of Naples Sea.
After graduating in Economics and Business at the University of Naples, Francesco Acampora obtained a master’s degree in marketing and communication. After working for various companies, he decided to follow his mother Adriana’s project, and he took over the company. He launched a new brand linked to the legendary island of Capri, to its sea and eternal beauty.
“Capri and its Faraglioni inspired my mother to create our most iconic product, which portrays them. The time has come to repay Capri and the sea by helping to preserve and improve it for future generations. Also, on the packaging front we have made an uncompromising choice, which allows us to compete on the international market. BluCapri is also about absolute respect for all people: whether they are customers, partners or suppliers, our aim is to make everyone a little happier thanks to our sustainable business“.
