Franscesco Acampora – Blu Capri

About

Francesco Acampora is the CEO of Peccati di Capri, the Neapolitan brand renowned for its delicious Faraglioni, born from an idea of his mother Adriana. Francesco Acampora graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Naples and earned a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication on a scholarship. After working for various companies and multinationals, he decided to pursue his mother’s project and took over the company. “Capri and its Faraglioni inspired my mother to create our most iconic product, which portrays them. Our Mission is to capture the timeless atmosphere and elegance of Capri in unique chocolate creations, inspired by the island’s iconic Faraglioni and made with selected ingredients from the Campania region. We want to turn Peccati di Capri into a symbol of Italian excellence, capable of telling the world the charm of Capri through chocolate.”

Projects
Wave
Wave was born from the idea of preserving, bringing to the table, and serving chocolate through an innovative container, whose lid also acts as a tray.
The classic box of traditional chocolates is reinterpreted with contemporary, simple, and essential shapes.
Partnership
The project was born from the meeting of two creative minds: designer Cristian Visentin and entrepreneur Francesco Acampora.
Cristian Visentin, founder of a multidisciplinary studio in Pavia, ranges from industrial design to graphics, from interior furnishing to architecture, with a constant drive toward experimentation fueled by an undeniable passion.
Francesco Acampora, today CEO of the family company Peccati di Capri, draws inspiration from the primitive and unmistakable charm of the island, continuing to distill its timeless atmosphere and elegance into unique chocolate creations, inspired by the island’s iconic Faraglioni and made with selected ingredients from the Campania region.
The hand-finished, mold-cast and glazed ceramic object was crafted by BL Ceramiche, a manufacturing company based in Milan.
The experience with Eleit
Chocolate, like wine and olive oil, is something to be eaten and savored, awakening all the senses. Peccati di Capri immediately joined Eleit to draw closer to the world of Design and become part of this community. We are convinced that the future holds further initiatives placing Chocolate paired with Design ever more in the spotlight, riding a trend that is reshaping the collective ritual of eating in pursuit of new taste experiences.
